Chinese Computing Get your system ready for using Chinese resources on the web.
Key Software. Your key to English windows applications. The only Chinese word processor we have found that allows the display of pinyin and Chinese characters at the same time.
IE 5 users can go to any web page displaying Chinese characters (i.e. The People's Daily). Then go to the View Menu and down to Encoding. Choose auto-select and you will prompted to download the required components for reading Chinese (Free).

Zhongwen.com is a detailed on-line character dictionary (including geneology), but also includes readings from literature and has an on-line pinyin chat room.
